Standing with her eyes closed, she faced the springtime sun…
Her body trembled as she blew a kiss to the eastern sky.

Standing with her eyes closed, she faced the warm winds of summer…
Her hair swept around her as she blew a kiss to the southern sky.

Standing with her eyes closed, she faced the steely clouds of fall…
She whispered a name and blew a kiss to the western sky.

Standing with her eyes wide open, she faced Polaris, the north star…
She smiled softly as she blew a kiss

And began anew…
